Casework and Welfare Assistance
This service caters to families in financial hardship. Besides giving monthly food ration and financial assistance, the Centre also provides free tuition and other forms of assistance to school going children as part of our holistic approach to helping the families. Bursary awards are given annually to children from needy families who do well in their school examinations and exhibit good conduct in school.
Counselling Service
Counselling service is available for individuals and families facing emotional, psychological, relationship, or life transition difficulties. Those seeking counselling support could be experiencing interpersonal relationship difficulties, marital challenges, parent-child issues, depression, and elderly issues. Through the counselling process the people in need are helped to address and work towards resolving or coping with the difficulties faced.
Marriage Preparation Programme: Building A Healthy Marriage
This marriage preparation programme for courting couples helps them to be better prepared to begin the journey to build healthy and lasting marriages. This is an individual couple programme conducted over three sessions of four hours each and it covers topics such as marriage expectations, role relationship, couple communication and conflict management, sexual relationship, family and in-law relationships, as well as financial management.
