1) Programme Executive/Social Work Associate (Satellite Visit Centre & Professional Service)
We are currently seeking a dedicated Programme Executive/Social Work Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for Satellite Visit Centre (SVC) programme planning, implementation, and administrative support. Your duties will include ensuring the seamless execution of tele-conferencing sessions in accordance with guidelines provided by the Singapore Prison Service and Woodlands Social Centre (WSC). The SVC serves as a vital link for communication between incarcerated individuals and their families, with WSC being among the pioneering SVCs in Singapore’s northern region, providing convenient and accessible visitation opportunities.
Additionally, you will be involved in casework management, which includes conducting intake and case assessments, planning interventions, and coordinating services with professionals and community resources to ensure effective follow-up.
- Programme Planning and Implementation:
– Assist in programme development and special projects.
– Coordinate and execute programme activities.
– Provide support to programme participants.
– Involved in volunteer management and development.
- Assessment and Support:
– Conduct comprehensive assessments.
– Deliver support and intervention services.
- Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain accurate programme documentation.

- Collaboration and Partnership:
– Collaborate with internal team and external partners to ensure smooth programme delivery.
- Intake and Casework Management:
– Handle enquiries and conduct assessments.
– Perform social work assessment and intervention.
– Coordinate with professionals and community resources.
– Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Degree/Diploma in any related field.
- Relevant experience in the social service sector.
- Strong programme implementation skills.
- Experience in working with children and families.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with external partners.
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices is beneficial.

2) Assistant Supervisor/Assistant Centre Manager (Evangel Student Care Centre)
The ESCC Assistant Supervisor/Assistant Centre Manager will undertake daily responsibilities associated with planning, operations, implementation, management, and administrative support. This includes coordinating activities, conducting assessments, engaging with, and providing support to children and families, and maintaining programme documentation. The role entails collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure the efficient delivery of service of the centre.
Additionally, the ESCC Assistant Supervisor/Assistant Centre Manager will be involved in management meetings, supervision, assessment and intervention planning for students, and coordination with professionals and community resources for service delivery and follow-up.
The ESCC Assistant Supervisor/Assistant Centre Manager will report to the Executive Director of Woodlands Social Centre and/or the Board of Directors.
- Programme Planning and Implementation:
– Development of relevant daily programmes and special projects to meet the needs of the students.
– Plan, coordinate, implement, execute programme activities (e.g. art and craft, character building, holiday excursions), and ensuring adherence to objectives and timelines.
– Plan and execute yearly events and activities at the centre (house-keeping, holiday programmes for students). - Assessment and Support:
– Conduct assessments to identify the needs of students/families.
– Counsel students with behavioural and/or disciplinary issues.
– Provide care and supervise students in an after-school care setting.
– Provide support to students, including their families, through various interventions and activities.
– Deliver support and intervention services to students and their families, addressing prioritised needs within the centre’s policies, philosophy and procedures.
– Guide students in their schoolwork in at least two subjects (English/Chinese/Maths/Science). - Collaboration and Partnership:
– Liaise with schools and parents regarding students’ progress and behaviour.
– Collaborate with internal teams from Woodlands Social Centre (WSC HQ), and external partners to ensure smooth programme delivery.
– Establish and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including community organisations, schools, and government agencies.
– Coordinate with professionals and community resources for service delivery and follow-up.
– Collaborate with the Volunteer Manager in volunteer management, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision. - Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date programme documentation, including student records, progress notes, programme evaluation, fees collection, subsidy application, compliance with governmental rules and regulations.
– Prepare required reports and documentation for management, government agencies and relevant stakeholders. - Management and Administrative Support:
– Manage enquiries of new students.
– Manage team of teachers in community-based student care centre.
– Evaluate and provide feedback to the staff on classroom management skills.
– Coordinate annual staff appraisal, declaration of offenses, conflict of interest, etc.
– Manage all administrative operations of the centre (eg staff training, finance and claims of staff).
- Degree or equivalent, background in early childhood sector preferred
- At least 5 years working experience
- Good interpersonal, organisational, communications skills
- Passionate about nurturing children, education, and the early childhood sector
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
3) Teacher (Evangel Student Care Centre)
The ESCC teacher will undertake daily responsibilities associated with planning, operations, implementation, and administrative support. This includes coordinating activities, engaging with and providing support to children and families, and managing administrative matters. The role entails collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure the efficient delivery of service of the centre.
The ESCC teacher reports to the Supervisor of ESCC.
- Programme Planning and Implementation:
– Assist with the development of the daily programmes to meet the needs of the children.
– Plan and conduct school holiday activities.
– Provide a safe, enriching, engaging environment for students to learn and feel supported.
– Manage classroom discipline and ensure children follow the daily timetable, rules and regulations of the Centre.
– Ensure children take their meals and shower.
– Teach and guide children during homework supervision time. Mark children’s assessment books promptly.
– Supervise the children closely during free play time.
– Work with parents to support their children’s daily attendance at ESCC. Provide feedback to parents on children’s academic and behavioral matters.
– Assist the Supervisor on compliance of all the terms and conditions set by MSF and NEA in the daily operation of ESCC.
- Collaboration and Partnership:
– Attend case discussions, supervision and consultancy sessions with Supervisor and Executive Director.
– Provide support and guidance to volunteers involved in the programme.
- Management and Administrative Support:
– Assist in administrative matters of the centre including fee collection, subsidy application, students’ registration, compliance with governmental rules and regulations.
– Assist to publicise and promote ESCC and in building the profile of ESCC.
- ITE diploma or equivalent, background in early childhood sector preferred
- At least 1 year of working exeprience
- Good interpersonal, organisational, communications skills
- Able to guide children in their work
- Experienced in classroom management
- Passionate about nurturing children, education, and the early childhood sector
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
