Come join us as a volunteer! Volunteering is a great way to do good with the skills you have. We’re always on the lookout for people who’d like to join us in our work!

We’re currently looking for volunteers for the roles below.

1) THRIVE Tutor (Academic Support & Character Development)

We are looking for passionate tutors to join us for our character and academic development support program for Primary school going children ages 7-12 years old.

  • Availability: Every Saturday morning, 9.30-11am throughout the academic year, except for  school holidays

  • Commitment: July 2024-December 2024
  • Subject Expertise: Proficient in providing academic support in English and Math for children in primary school

  • Engagement Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage children during the duration of academic support sessions. This includes the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment while fostering active participation and collaboration.

  • Passion for Learning: Motivated and passionate about empowering children to develop a love for learning. This involves fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills, as well as instilling confidence and self-motivation in students to pursue their academic goals. This also includes the ability to provide feedback on children’s progress whenever required.

  • Commitment to Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate a willingness to continuously improve their own teaching practices. This may involve attending training sessions and seeking feedback from program coordinators.
